I’m already going to the DeRose Festival. Is there any point in coming to the DeRose Experience Rome as well?

Yes, because they are completely different experiences. The Festival is the major annual event, featuring many concurrent activities and a broader scope. The DeRose Experience Roma is a very specific event: three days focused on Rome, cinema and the international group, featuring the premiere of the documentary and the presence of Professor DeRose. One does not replace the other. Rome 2026 is a unique chapter in the history of our Method in Europe.

Are travel, accommodation and meals included?

No. The DeRose Experience Rome is an in-person event that does not include travel, accommodation or meals. Each participant is responsible for organising their own travel and accommodation, but you won’t be on your own: you’ll have access to a Notion space containing practical information and to an international WhatsApp group where you can ask questions, coordinate with other participants and receive support from the team.

What if I come on my own? Will I be able to fit in?

Yes. The experience is specifically designed to foster connections and a sense of camaraderie among people from different countries. Many people take part on their own and return with new friends and a stronger sense of belonging to the group.

I don’t have much holiday time. Is it worth spending three days on this?

If you just want to visit Rome, perhaps not. But if you’re looking for a meaningful experience in your journey with the DeRose Method, through cinema, culture, the practices and mindful socialising, then these three days are an investment in something that won’t happen again. What’s more, the event starts on Friday evening and continues over the weekend, so as to have as little impact as possible on the working week.

What if I sign up and then change my mind?

You have 30 days to change your mind. If you decide not to take part within this period, you will receive a full refund. After 30 days, your place is no longer refundable or transferable.

In which language are the activities and the event held?

The monthly sessions will be simultaneously interpreted into English. During the in-person event, there will be segments in English, Italian and Portuguese, with interpretation into English and/or Italian provided throughout.

In the months leading up to the event, you’ll take part in monthly online sessions with DeRose Method instructors, in an international setting designed to foster connection, preparation and continuity. Each session will be delivered in English, with translation, and will remain available for one year, so you can watch it again whenever you like. All communications and the sending of login details will be handled via WhatsApp, in a simple and straightforward manner. The sooner you sign up, the sooner you’ll be able to experience the Rome sessions: you’ll arrive with a wider repertoire, greater integration, more contact with the instructors, and a deeper connection with our Method.
